Previous successful horses
Our current horses are as different as the daily tasks in the sport. In our stable there are a wide variety of show jumpers of different performance levels and breeding lines. In our daily work together with our partners, we select willingness to perform, wealth, intelligence and, last but not least, heart. Success can only be achieved if all factors complement each other in a meaningful way.

For Pleasure was a good-natured and ambitious horse. He had a very good overview on the course and in his daily work. Due to his style and his successes, he was an exceptional stallion. For Pleasure was used for breeding and already has successful offspring in top-class sport. For Pleasure was Marcus' successful horse, together the two have won several medals and achieved countless victories and placements. For Pleasure retired from sport at the CHIO in Aachen in May 2006. However, he continued to work as a decker and stayed with the Ehning family. Karina Ehning continued to look after her favorite horse and made his "retirement" as pleasant as possible. A special treatment for a very special horse. By the way, his favorite song was the German national anthem and his nickname was "Freddy".

Anka came to Marcus' stable when she was 5 years old. He rode her in jumping horse competitions and presented her successfully at the Bundeschampionat. Already at the end of 7 years she competed in her first Grand Prix in December and placed very well. In the years that followed, she was one of the most consistent horses in Marcus' training, as she was used again and again in advanced jumping due to her very good rideability, scope and caution. In 2003, Anka crowned her career by winning the World Cup finals in Las Vegas. But also in the years that followed she won many other competitions in addition to the Nations Cup in La Baule. After her career she was at home as a broodmare at Ehnings on the farm for 7 years and gave birth to 5 foals.

Sandro Boy only came to Marcus' stable when he was almost 10 years old and was carefully introduced to the big show jumping classes in 2003. Due to his limitless ability, the obstacles were not difficult for him, but the big leaps made it difficult for him to keep some distances. However, he was able to win the Frankfurt Grand Prix with Marcus in his first year. Countless victories in major prix followed in the following years and he was even victorious in the 2007 Nations Cup final in Barcelona. Certainly his greatest success was winning the 2006 World Cup final in Kuala Lumpur. After 5 flawless rounds he deservedly became the winner. Until the end of his fantastic career, the exceptional stallion with his strong character was an absolute world-class horse thanks to his careful and capable jumping. Even on his last lap in the course, in the 2010 Munich Grand Prix, he was able to win his lap of honor.
- 2007 Victory in the Nations Cup of Barcelona
- 2006 Victory in the World Cup finals in Kuala Lumpur
- 14 victories in international Grand Prix
- Total lifetime earnings: 1,286,834 euros
- 2000 gold medal at the Sydney Olympics with the team and 4th place individually

Nolte's kitchen girl started her career under the saddle of Johannes as Lord's Classics. The mare already showed her outstanding quality with Johannes and won the Grand Prix of Hamburg with Johannes in 2005, when she was only 8 years old. The following year, Nolte's kitchen girl started very successfully with Marcus. After victories in Leipzig and Bordeaux, the powerful jumping mare won the Grand Prix of Aachen and, after the Nations Cup in La Baule, the Grand Prix of La Baule as well! The crack in her career caused by the "stamp" at the 2006 World Championships in Aachen, caused by a rider error by Marcus, does not correspond in any way to her strength of character. In the years that followed, the highly sensitive mare confirmed her impressive form with victories in many other Grand Prixs and several Nations Cups. After 9 years in the big international sport, "Kitchen" is now in well-deserved retirement and is expecting a foal by Comme Il Faut next year.

Plot Blue came to Marcus in the summer of 2008. The two found each other quickly and won difficult jumps that year and completed the first Nations Cup for Germany double zero. Plot Blue's consistency makes him Marcus' top horse. The World Cup victory in 2010 and the victory at the World Championships in Kentucky with the team is the reward for the work.
Plot Blue regularly finds itself in the list of winners of the biggest tournaments in the world and helps Germany to win Nations Cups. His lifetime earnings amount to over 1.2 million euros. In December 2015 he ceremonially retired from the sport in Geneva.
